Website development is not a design question — it is a project with phases, deadlines and a verifiable result. Here is the process we run for clients in Latvia and the wider Baltics, so you know what to expect each week.
The phases, week by week
Most company websites go through the same five phases. A clear phase structure is also the best protection against a project that never ends.
- Phase 1 — goals and structure: sitemap, keywords, conversion goals (3–5 days)
- Phase 2 — design: home and template pages for mobile and desktop (1–2 weeks)
- Phase 3 — build: page types, content management, forms, integrations (2–5 weeks)
- Phase 4 — content and SEO: copy, titles, descriptions, structured data, hreflang (1 week)
- Phase 5 — testing and launch: performance, browsers, mobile, analytics, 301 redirects
Technical requirements to put in writing
These cost little when planned upfront and a lot when fixed after launch. Ask for them in the contract.
- Server-rendered content so Google sees text without JavaScript
- Core Web Vitals targets: LCP under 2.5s on mobile networks
- Unique title and description per page, one H1, semantic structure
- sitemap.xml, robots.txt and Google Search Console setup
- Structured data: Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ
- Domain, hosting and code repository owned by you
- Preserved URLs or 301 redirects so rankings survive the rebuild
Multilingual sites for the Baltic market
If you sell in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, each language needs its own URL, title and content. Machine translation on a single URL rarely gets indexed.
In practice the primary language works best on the prefix-free root with the other languages on prefixed paths, hreflang between all versions and a self-referencing canonical on each.
What our price includes
We work with a fixed price for a defined scope: feature list, timeline and price in one document. The build team is in India and project management runs in your time zone, so the same scope costs materially less than a local agency.
Every project includes technical SEO, performance work, analytics and a warranty period after launch. If anyone in the Baltics matches the same scope and quality for less, we return 200% of what you paid.
Najczęściej zadawane pytania
How long does website development take?
A brochure site takes 2–3 weeks; a corporate site with a blog and several languages 4–8 weeks. The usual delay is content and photography from the client side.
Can you rebuild an existing site without losing rankings?
Yes. We record current URLs and positions first, keep the addresses or set 301 redirects, then monitor Search Console after launch.
What happens after launch?
A warranty period covers bug fixes at no extra cost, followed by an optional maintenance plan with updates, backups and monitoring.
Is SEO included?
Technical SEO fundamentals are part of development. Competitive rankings additionally need content and local SEO work, which we can continue as a monthly plan.
